Follow This Framework to Grow Your Business While You Sleep
Growing a business that can thrive even when you're not actively working may sound like a dream, but it’s possible. In this post, I’ll walk you through a system that helped me scale my business sustainably — the BESTOC framework.
Let’s break down each component of this framework to help you build a self-sustaining business.

1. Branding – Who can we assimilate with?
Branding is all about perception. It's not just how people feel about your business but also who they associate you with. Think of your brand as part of an elite circle. If you can align your product with well-known industry names, you instantly elevate your credibility.
For example, I aligned my coding bootcamp curriculum with top players in the tech industry, like Google. Even mentioning collaboration or inspiration from credible sources can enhance your reputation. The same principle applies whether you're running a local business or a global company.
Tip to strengthen this: Start with smaller, credible figures or local influencers in your industry. You don’t need global recognition right away. Build your credibility step by step by aligning yourself with respected names.

2. Eyeballs – How can we get as many people as possible to notice our offerings?
You might have the best product in the world, but it doesn’t matter if no one knows about it. Growing your visibility is essential.
Initially, organic reach through SEO, content creation, and social media was key for me. Later, I added paid ads, and that’s when things really took off. A mix of organic and paid strategies creates the perfect balance for sustainable growth.
Tip to strengthen this: Invest in authentic content. People connect with stories, so share behind-the-scenes moments. Build your foundation with organic reach, then amplify it with paid ads. Think long-term, but don’t be afraid to speed up growth with targeted ads once your content resonates.

3. Synergies – How does our ecosystem connect?
Your business operations should be interconnected. Everything from your marketing to your product offerings needs to work as a system.
For instance, in my coding bootcamp, students don’t just finish the course and leave. Many come back to work on projects for us, creating a self-sustaining cycle. This synergy keeps customers within your ecosystem and increases their lifetime value.
Tip to strengthen this: Create a journey for your customers. Once they buy from you, what’s the next step? Can you offer a complementary service or an exclusive membership? Keep them coming back, so they become part of your world rather than a one-time transaction.

4. Testimonials – How can we prove that what we do works?
Testimonials are powerful proof that your product or service delivers. But not all testimonials carry the same weight. A testimonial from a high-profile figure or a respected industry expert is far more convincing than a general review.
In my business, I make sure to get testimonials not just from students, but also from industry leaders who hire our graduates. These carry more weight and help convert leads into customers.
Tip to strengthen this: Be specific with testimonials. Encourage your clients to highlight tangible results like revenue increases or specific improvements. Numbers and detailed success stories are far more persuasive than generic praise.

5. Offer – How can we make our offer irresistible?
The best offers are so good that people feel silly for saying no. For instance, I offer a guarantee to my students: if they don’t get a job after completing our course, I’ll give them their money back. It’s bold, but it works because I’m confident in our product.
Tip to strengthen this: Test different offers. Whether it’s a risk-free trial or a deep discount, make sure your offer stands out. The key is to over-deliver. If your product exceeds expectations, a strong offer will convert more leads.

6. Conversion – How do we convert the attention we’re getting?
You’ve built up your branding, gotten attention, created synergy, gathered testimonials, and made a strong offer. Now it’s time to convert that interest into action.
Create urgency and scarcity. People are naturally hesitant to act. Limited-time offers or exclusive deals like “only 10 seats left” can push them to act immediately rather than waiting.
Tip to strengthen this: Use urgency-driven tactics to encourage immediate action. Offering additional incentives for quick decisions can significantly increase your conversion rates.
By following this BESTOC framework, you can create a business that scales while you sleep. Focus on creating a system that builds momentum, even when you’re not actively involved, and watch your business grow sustainably over time.
